I currently working at Justworks, where I help small businesses and entrepreneurs run their business with confidence.

I started out my career working in sales, marketing and people management at a variety of different startups. In design, I’ve come to realize what an asset this experience is for me in deeply understanding and empathizing with the user.

It’s also hugely helpful in being able to communicate and collaborate with my cross-functional teammates.

As a sales and marketing manager, data and the ability to analyze data was crucial to my role. I have taken this mindset into my design process and am adamant about the importance of validating assumptions with numbers and trends.

My desire to not just sell great products to users, but to have a hand in understanding what makes products great and what goes into creating them, lead me to discover my passion for Design and User Experience.

Outside of UX and product design, I also love Interior Design and jewelry design. I’ve been recently making my own jewelry and candles using repurposed containers.

Aside from all things design, I love being active, whether it’s going for hikes or exploring new places and destinations. My favorite workout is The Class (look it up!) or yoga, but I’m also trying to get back into running (I stopped for years after running a half marathon).
